Liz Rhodes Bio:
Meet Liz Rhodes, a devoted member of the Slow Flower Society and a true flower enthusiast since the early 2000s. Her love affair with flowers started by "slinging flowers" to help put herself through school at a small floral shop in Charlottesville, VA; those early days of floral fascination laid the groundwork for a remarkable journey.
Liz isn't just a flower maven. Her career in the corporate world of architecture was built on the cornerstones of sustainability, community, and education; Liz's passion for flowers and care for sustainability led her to create Marigold & Green, a floral design studio that exudes love, creativity, and kindness.
Environmental consciousness is at the core of M&G’s work. No floral foam or harsh chemicals are allowed in her creations, and she's always on the hunt for recyclable and compostable materials.
